F.C. Tucker Ranked in the Top 100 by REALTOR® Magazine
Only Indianapolis Real Estate Company Ranked for 2005 Sales Volume


F.C. Tucker Company, the largest independently owned real estate company in Indiana, was listed among the leading realty companies across the nation on two of Realtor Magazine’s Top 100 lists.

F.C. Tucker was ranked No. 80 for 2005 sales volume, making it the only Indianapolis real estate company to make that list. The 87-year-old Indiana mainstay was also ranked for number of transactions, coming in at No. 55. (Note: These rankings are based only on sales volume and transactions from F.C. Tucker’s 16 Indianapolis-area offices; they do not include the company’s 30 statewide affiliates.)

“It’s always an honor to be recognized within your industry,” said H. James Litten, president of F.C. Tucker’s Residential Real Estate Services Division. “What’s more exciting to us, though, is the consistent growth we’re seeing in the central Indiana housing market and – in turn – F.C. Tucker.”

According to the Realtor Magazine list, F.C. Tucker’s 2005 sales volume was approximately $1.98 billion – a 5.1-percent increase from 2004. The company’s transactions also increased, jumping 3 percent from the previous year.
